Kelly Klein brings 11 years of traditional Marketing experience to the table, but has most recently rounded out her biography by becoming a Social Media Strategist. She is a regular Social Media workshop teacher at SCORE Austin and also facilitates Social media round-tables in Austin.
She is available to speak at your group/meet-up, or event on a variety of topics including:
Social Media Marketing – The basics, definitions and scope
How to develop and implement a Social Media Strategy
How to manage your time, SMM campaign and return on investment
Social Media has been the craze lately – everyone is abuzz with twittering, facebooking and linked-’inning’. (a new verb?? ) However as I teach people all around Austin what social media marketing is – I often ask ‘is it necessary?’
Every time I teach – I ask:
1. Who is your target audience?
2. Where does your target audience live? (and I don’t mean that geographically) – are they in coffee shops, online, visiting retail stores etc.
3. Will spending the time on SMM touch the lives of your customers?
I came across this post on Linked-in by Francois Hotte Marketing Manager Online Business at Group NBT and thought you might enjoy it.
As small or new business owners, its important to know a little more about Domain names. Personally, I ran into an issue dealing with domain names and trademarking. (see #9) CAUTION: just registering a domain name with’ intent to use’ does NOT a trademark make.
Have fun with these:
