2010: The Year SEO Isn’t Important Anymore

I read this article and wanted to share it with you all since I thought it was an  interesting take on things.  There are so many marketing firms out there that tout they will get you ranked on page 1 of Google. Personally, my firm does not offer this service because I do not believe its worth the money and effort. If you are not #1-3 on the organic links, its worthless and all the thousands of dollars spent to outside agencies are wasted.  As you will see below – the algorithyms are constantly changing – emphasis on what search engines look for change and in the long run – how much ROI does it really gain you?  I know it will take a little bit of retraining your brain since we’ve been told SEO- SEO-SEO for a while now, but I challenge you to think of a better way to spend your time marketing your company.
